February was a busy month in the nurse’s office. I’ve seen head lice, strep throat and lots of running noses. Hopefully when everyone returns from break they will be well rested and healthy. I taught the February Great Body Shop lessons to (almost) all grades. It was great to see the kids in the classroom setting rather than injured or ill. We did some artwork, played BINGO and the 5th grade kids made it through their lessons on growth and development. When we return I will begin the BMI screening with grades 1 and 4. You can expect to get the results in the mail by the end of March.
